The great thing about the old gameboy advance pokemon games is that most of them were different colors so you can go to a second-hand game shop and see all these games that don’t have labels on them anymore because some kid loved the fuck out of that game but you can tell it’s a pokemon game and which one it is by the color of the cartridge and you don’t even need that label do you that’s right you fucking DON’T because those bastards that made the cartridges were fucking genius

Homestrife color sprites!
I’m currently working on the Homestrife Project as sprite color artist… its only color artist. I’d really kind of appreciate some help!
The next demo is going to come out in the weekend at most, and you’ll get to witness aaaaaaaall the work I put on it. Aaaaaaaall of it. And also the work of some other people who did unimportant shit like… program the engine from the ground up, including gravity and impact physics and shit like that, and project the attacks, and animate the sprites I would eventually color (inbetweens included) and also put together the 10 different color palettes you can see up there (meaning I only had to color each sprite once! Isn’t that marvelous?) and all sorts of other stuff.
What I’m saying is, if you can animate in flash or do anti-aliased coloring work, the Homestrife Team would like YOU to join its army!
Coloring is easy enough: what you do is use the bizarre mix of colors from the top gif and apply them to the attack animations you will be provided with, and once they’re done, you send them back to the boss and he uses mysterious majyicks to turn all those colors into other colors. Or you can use the program linked above and do the magic yourself.
